Ikenna Hilary scores first goal in Portugal

Championship of Africa Nations (CHAN) Nigeria Midfielder, Ikenna Hilary Paul scored his first goal for his Portuguese side, Despotivo da camacha at the weekend when they drew 1-1 at home against FC Cesarense in the Campeonato Nacional de Seniores Group D game.
It was an elated Ikenna that told ralphcgeorge.blogspot.com that the goal, his first since joining some months back meant a lot to him and the fans.

"Our Fans had started leaving the stadium thinking that the game was lost already when I scored the last minute equalizer"

“I played in the defense in the first half and in the second half the Coach moved me in to attacking position and I did not disappoint” the former, Enugu Rangers, Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars midfielder said.

D.A. Camacha will resume their league action this weekend with a game against Maritimo B.

The Santa Cruz, Madeira based club is currently placed 7th on the Portuguese second division North Zone.
