Glo Premier League Champions, Kano Pillars General Manager, Babangida Umar has confirmed that the Team is set to lose some of its top players to foreign clubs.
Top on the list of the players is the team
captain and longest serving goalkeeper in the team, Theophilus Joel Afelokhai,
Home-based Super Eagles trio of Umar Zango, Gambo Mohammed and Rabiu 'Pele' Ali.
Others are Azeez Shobowale, Kingsley Udo, Eneji Otekpa and the club’s top scorer in the 2014 season, Hassan Adamu.
According to Umar the players are willing to leave as soon as the offers come for them.
Meanwhile Kano Pillars have revealed that 14 new players have been penciled down to strengthen
the team for next season.
Coach Okey Emordi has already retained 20 of the players out of the 34 that won the title in the just-concluded league season.
