Players of Heartland of Owerri have been asked to report to camp on the 12th of December.
No reason was given for the early resumption with no date
yet fixed for the start of the 2014/2015 Glo Premier League season.
A player of the Team who craved anonymity said “they did not
tell us why we are resuming early but personally I think it is to announce to us
those to be retained and those to be placed on transfer”.
“I believe not all of us that played last season will be
retained by the Coach for next season. I know we won’t be long in the camp
as they will surely give us Christmas break ” he added.
Heartland lost their last season 2013/2014 game at home 1-2 to Bayelsa
United and ended 10th on the log with 55pts.
