Flying Eagles deadly trio promise the best

The trio of Chidera Eze, Kelechi Iheanacho and Taiwo Awoniyi have promised Nigerians of memorable World Youth Championships in New Zealand.
The Manchester City forward, Iheanacho says Nigerians expect the best from the Team.

The African champions are drawn against five-time winners Brazil, North Korea and Hungary in the first round of the tournament, which starts this weekend.

Martins brace lifts Seattle to victory at New York

Obafemi Martins bagged a brace as Seattle Sounders won 3-1 at New York City FC on Sunday.
The Nigerian opened the scoring in the 23rd minute for the visitors before Mehdi Ballouchy levelled for the home side after 54 minutes.

However Clint Dempsey put Sigi Schmid's side back in front after 58 minutes, before former Newcastle striker Martins extended their lead further after 66 minutes.

And New York City's misery was complete two minutes from time when Kwame Watson-Siriboe was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.
