Nigeria International, Gbolahan Salami scored both goals Saturday as Warri Wolves beat visiting MK Etanchéité of D.R. Congo 2-1 in the first leg of their CAF Confederation cup round of 16 match played at the Warri City Stadium.
Wolves missed many scoring opportunities in the match which saw the Congolese side missing a first half penalty.
The second leg comes
on May 1st at the Stade Tata Raphaël in Kinshasa.

NFF suspends Anambra FA Cup matches
The crisis currently rocking the Anambra State football Association (ASFA) leading to two different State FA cup competitions going on simultaneously has forced the NFF to suspend FA cup games in the state till further notice.
Sports Flight exclusively gathered that the NFF is not happy with the turn of the crisis and the way it has affected the State Cup matches.
Before the NFF hammer fell, the two factions of the State FA have scheduled two different FA cup finals on Sunday, one in Nanka involving Gabros FC (Ifeanyi Uba FC) and Ikpeazu FC of Onitsha organized by Umeh's faction and another at Rojenny Stadium, Oba involving Cardinal FC Onitsha and winner of the second semi final scheduled for today.
The Rojenny final is organized by the faction of the Vice Chairman, Jude Obikwelu and backed by the State FA secretariat.
Meanwhile the NFF will send a high powered
delegation led by the President, Pinnick Amaju to Awka on Tuesday to try mending fences with the two factions and hear from stake holders.
